Dance the night away in our City of Stars Film & Chill celebrates the month of love with our featured presentation La La Land.  From the director of Whiplash (Damien Chazelle) and starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, comes a modern take on the golden age of the Hollywood musical as a pianist and actress navigate the path of love and their aspiring dreams.

As part of the experience:
  • Channel your 'inner Hollywood' and feel like a movie star for the day by walking down our red carpet and have your photo taken.
  • Relax in our rooftop area.
  • Unwind in our relaxation zones (board games, books).
  • Enjoy some live music and entertainment.
  • Have a drink at our bar.
  • Watch a short indie film/featured presentation in our comfortable and relaxing deck chairs, immersed with 7.1 surround sound and 120' inch screen.

Please Note:

  • This is an adults only screening.
  • Food is included in the ticket (complimentary fries, sweet potato fries or salad). Additional meal options available at an extra cost.
  • Door entry from 6pm on Saturday 16th February 2019. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the screening time. Film presentation will begin promptly at 7.30pm.
  • A short film will be shown prior to the featured presentation which showcasing the best of independent cinema and celebrating our featured filmmaker. Runtime is under 10 minutes.
  • Free complimentary popcorn available for our film ticket guests.
  • Seating is unallocated and works on a first come, first served basis.

Film & Chill is an intimate and relaxing cinema club specialising in monthly film screenings in the heart of Brixton, London. Passionate about film, expect cult classics to major blockbusters, but with a committed emphasis to showcase independent filmmakers and their short films prior to the featured presentation.

T&Cs

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    Another great evening out at Film & Chill! Great location, relaxed atmosphere, cool vibes - all made so memorable by meeting new people. The film room is cozy and really has a 'living room' feel which is much more unique. Rediscovering classics such a 'Back to the Future' is terrific (how prophetic it is!), but also having the opportunity to watch independent short films - this is a real gem & true treat. I look forward going again (and again)!

    Great atmosphere! The rooftop is amazing and you can enjoy a nice afternoon with drinks and food before the film. The film room is really nice and comfortable as well and you can enjoy more drinks and food afterwards. It's a great experience overall and will be definitely going again.
